Great value for the money! I prefer these 10-hour hand warmers over the 7 or 8-hour ones—they seem to work better and are a great price. I use them while skiing in frigid temps. I put them over the top of my fingers, between the inner liner and outer shell of my mittens. Sometimes, it’s the only way I can ski without my fingers going numb! They’ve helped me stay out longer, and you can even warm your face with them occasionally.

My 85-year-old mother-in-law is anemic and weighs only 95 pounds, so she's always cold. Living in Florida, we were worried about her comfort during a family winter trip to Texas. She used these in the toes of her shoes and jacket pockets, and they worked perfectly—keeping her warm even longer than the package indicated! She even used them indoors and on car rides, allowing her to enjoy outings like looking at Christmas lights with her great-grandkids, which she normally would have missed because of the cold. I’m from California and spent Thanksgiving in Ireland. Since I only had a backpack, I had to pack carefully, and I’m SO glad I chose these hand warmers! I kept two in my pockets each day, and they kept me warm through all the wind and rain (as you can see in the picture). Highly recommend if you’re planning to be out walking in the cold!
I originally got these for my pockets to keep my hands warm on the coldest hiking days, and they work great! Now, I mostly order them for my 15-year-old Jack Russell hiking buddy. He’s on a low-fat diet and gets cold easily, so I slip a warmer or two into the pockets of his Carhartt hiking coat. They’re fantastic and last for hours!
